For the purposes of this project, Western Massachusetts is defined as those cities and towns that lie north, south and west of the Town of Rutland, which is the geographic center of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Select a county below to search by the city or town that the deceased veteran called home. "Home" is the official home of record reported by the veteran to his military service branch.
Official homes of record and other casualty information are maintained in a database known as the Vietnam Combat Area Casualty Current File (CACCF). Originally maintained by the Department of Defense, the Vietnam CACCF is now in the custody of the National Archives and Records Administration.
